These paricluar lyrics I caught on the radio yesterday it just makes me ball my eyes out........

Sara Mclachlan - Angel

in the arms of an angel
fly away from here
from this dark cold hotel room
and the endlessness that you fear
you are pulled from the wreckage
of your silent reverie
you're in the arms of the angel
may you find some comfort there
you're in the arms of the angel
may you find some comfort here

The Bloomington music scene lost one of its greatest contributors when Tom Donahue passed away Wednesday from complications from liver cancer.

He would have been 54 next week.

Donahue had been a staple of the Bloomington music scene for more than 25 years, working in several music stores, and finally settling as owner of TD’s CDs & LPs on Kirkwood Avenue. He also organized concerts in the area, bringing many national acts such as The Flaming Lips to Bloomington.
Originally a series of benefit concerts running from Nov. 15 to 26 was planned for Donahue. They will still take place as memorial concerts, the first of which will feature local bands covering The Beatles.

Donahue always made it a point to inform his customers of upcoming local shows that were otherwise ignored.

“He was very supportive of local music,” Donahue’s longtime friend Rex Miller said. “He liked all types of music, and he would do anything he could to help out local bands.”

WFIU Public Radio announcer Joe Bourne said Donahue stayed committed to music long after most people would have moved on to other things.
“He was there when he needed to be to support people in music,” Bourne said. “Other people might not do that as they got older, but he did. He was a supremely fine person.”

Donahue never advertised much for his business, but instead sponsored as many local shows as possible in hopes of bringing people into the store. That and word of mouth gave TD’s the reputation as “the place” for local music in Bloomington.

Miller said through this commitment to the local scene, and music overall, Donahue made many friends, perhaps more than he will ever know.
“He had a lot of friends,” Miller said. “I’m not even sure he knew how many friends he had. There were a lot of people who really cared about him. He was truly a nice guy. He never had anything bad to say about anyone.”

every time i die - ebolarama

Boys: Shoot to thrill from the hip. It's time we put the "act" in action. We've tricked the pigs into thinking that this auction is a pageant. In no time there will be makeup on our new set of cutlery. The livestock is star struck. They're all salivating like ravenous cartoons. Goddamn animal. You'd better watch where you spit. Squeal like soft music. If it helps, we'll dim the lights on the floor. Neon bulbs are the cosmetics of swine. Everybody looks quite dazzling, trussed up in there formal attire. You'd make a great secret if i could keep you, but we all spill out guts. We're locked and loaded. Drip fed and bloated. Our trigger fingers snagged in the mouse trap of the moment. Turn the lights off on us, like a moth left in the cold. In the dark, begging for more. When the urgency strikes, you'd better not lose your nerve. It's the rush that the cockroaches get at the end of the world. It's alright. There's a pail by the bed if you need it (but you're doing just fine). When in Rome we shall do a the Romans, when in Hell we do shots at the bar. Last call, kill it. We don't think in terms of mornings afters and we don't utter a single word of the night befores. In the meantime we're just thoughtless incessant buzzing aparatus. Disillusioned and lonelier than the last man stading. It doesn't get any better than this so run like hell. This is a rock and roll takeover. Living each day one night at a time. There were mercy fucks, there was blood. You should have been there by my side. This is passion, this is red handed denial. I have no lover and she hasn't the prettiest eyes. Last call, kill it.

[music |"The Last Word" by Voltaire from Almost Human]

The Last Word

What do you call it
when another forms as your hand
and what will they say
when they find me here this way
and know, no no no it wasn't my idea
no it wasn't my idea
but oh,just to see your face
when you find me here like this
now there's no time for wondering
darkness is now at my door
rapping with bony fingers
he's come to take me home
he'll envelope me in sleep
wrapped in black feathery wings

but before we fly, here's my goodbye

I get the last word
i get the last laugh
as sure as the room is growing cold
I'll have the last word
I'll have the last laugh
as sure as my blood is running cold

they won't call it suicide
because i've got the killer's name
engraved so deeply in my veins
they will call it homocide
because i've got your name
so clearly carved into my wrist
weak and lame defiant they wait
to escape but why should i
leave all this beauty behind
and forfeit the joy in my life
in the name of an enemy

I get the last word
i get the last laugh
as sure as the room is growing cold
I'll have the last word
I'll have the last laugh
as sure as my blood is running cold

far be it for I to leave all this beauty behind
i will stay to watch you wither away
and with any luck you may be hit by a truck
and i will remain to dance upon your grave
oh, look, can't you see how much your death means to me
please won't you play in a busy street

Far be it for I to leave all this beauty behind
I will remain to dance upon your grave

[music |Staind - Outside]

And you bring me to my knees
All this time that i could beg you please
All the times that i felt insecure
And i leave my burdens at the door
I'm on the outside
I'm looking in
I can see through you
See your true colors
Inside youre ugly
Ugly like me
I can see through you
See to the real you
All this time that I felt like this wont end
Was for you
And i taste what I could never have
It's from you
All those times that I tried
My intentions
Full of pride
And i waste more time than anyone
I'm on the outside
I'm looking in
I can see through you
See your true colors
Cause inside you're ugly
Ugly like me
I can see through you
See to the real you
All the times that I cried
All this wastin
It's all inside
And i feel all this pain
Stuffed it down
It's back again
And I lie here in bed
All alone
I can't help what I feel
Tomorrow will be okay
I'm on the outside
I'm looking in
I can see through you
See your true colors
Inside you're ugly
Ugly like me
I can see through you
See to the real you

AFTER I BEAT THE FUCKING SHIT OUT OF IT
I WANTED TO THROW IT THROUGH YOUR FUCKING WINDOW
BUT I NEEDED MONEY TO BUY SOME MORE WHISKEY
SO I SOLD IT TO A CHINESE RESTAURANT

I SOLD YOUR DOG TO A CHINESE RESTAURANT
I SOLD YOUR DOG TO A CHINESE RESTAURANT
I SOLD YOUR DOG TO A CHINESE RESTAURANT
I SOLD YOUR DOG TO A CHINESE RESTAURANT

YOUR FAMILY ORDERED PU PU PLATTER
YOU DIDN'T KNOW WHAT YOU WERE EATING
IT WAS YOUR FUCKING GAY FAITHFUL DOG
WHILE YOU WERE AT THE RESTAURANT I LIT YOUR HOUSE ON FIRE
